Agusto & Co., the foremost Pan-African Credit Rating Agency and a pioneer of the credit rating industry in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic Research & Strategy Manager to join our growing team in Lagos. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, providing rigorous insights that inform market entry, product development, and investment decisions across diverse economic sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Frame and solve complex business problems using structured thinking, financial modeling, and data-driven analysis to guide executive decision-making.
- Lead high-impact strategic projects, market assessments, and feasibility studies across real estate, financial services, and adjacent sectors.
- Analyze business performance to identify growth levers, efficiency opportunities, and revenue drivers while tracking key performance indicators.
- Translate organizational strategy into actionable initiatives with clear ownership, timelines, and measurable success metrics.
- Develop high-quality presentations and board-level materials, communicating complex insights clearly and compellingly to stakeholders.
- Maintain a forward-looking view of macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and competitor landscapes to ensure sustainable competitive advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business analysis, or strategic research.
- Demonstrated expertise in building financial models, conducting commercial analysis, and utilizing advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of operating effectively in ambiguous environments.
