About the Role
ARM Hold Co., one of Nigeria's largest non-bank financial services firms, is seeking a dynamic and analytical Research Analyst to join our growing team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering actionable financial insights, comprehensive market research, and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders and our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research on various classes of securities, industries, and company data to develop insightful reports and publications.
- Analyze, interpret, and forecast macroeconomic indicators and their broader impact on domestic and global capital markets.
- Perform advanced financial valuation and modeling, including DCF and DDM, to forecast target prices and guide investment decisions.
- Execute active surveillance of investment securities and portfolio holdings to identify emerging market trends and optimization strategies.
- Support business development initiatives by contributing specialized research materials for sales pitches to prospective and existing clients.
- Develop and refine quantitative and analytical tools to enhance security selection, monitoring, and overall market analysis.
- Deliver engaging, regular presentations of market findings and sector coverage to internal teams and external clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field (a Master's degree is an added advantage).
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in investment research, financial analysis, or a closely related role.
- Strong quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial databases such as Bloomberg, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Nigerian macroeconomic landscape and capital market instruments.
