About the Role
The African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) Abuja is a state-of-the-art 500-bed specialty hospital delivering world-class healthcare, research, and education across the continent. Developed by Afreximbank in clinical partnership with Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a skilled Applications Developer (Clinical/ERP Systems) to design, develop, and maintain robust technological solutions that directly enhance patient care and hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design, code, and test custom extensions, interfaces, and modules for clinical and ERP systems.
- Develop and maintain database scripts, stored procedures, and secure healthcare interoperability interfaces.
- Monitor application performance, execute patches, and ensure seamless data exchange across hospital platforms.
- Implement stringent application-level access controls, security audits, and vulnerability remediation.
- Provide tier-two technical support, comprehensive documentation, and user training for healthcare staff.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in application development, ERP administration, or systems integration.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, alongside advanced SQL and database management skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7/FHIR) and AI-powered development tools is an added advantage.
