About the Role
MTN Nigeria is Africa's leading cellular telecommunications company, dedicated to connecting communities and driving digital inclusion across the nation. We are currently looking for a results-driven Representative for Sales and Trade Development to join our dynamic Sales and Distribution division in Zuru, Kebbi State. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing trade infrastructure, expanding financial services through retail channels, and securing MTN's market dominance at the grassroots level.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop trade infrastructure and financial services through retail distribution channels to ensure MTN dominance in the Zuru territory.
- Conduct regular visits to sub-dealers and dealer branches, ensuring stock availability remains above 95% at all times.
- Provide on-the-spot training and coaching to retail outlets regarding MTN products, services, and active marketing promotions.
- Execute brand visibility strategies, achieving targeted signage and POS distribution to secure strong market presence.
- Monitor and report on network quality, competitor activities, and general market intelligence to management.
- Resolve channel queries relating to subscriber activations, product distribution, and promotional campaigns efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in sales, trade development, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with fluency in English.
