About the Role
Baker Hughes, a global leader in oilfield technology and services, is looking for a dedicated Reliability Engineer - Wireline Services to join our team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will champion operational excellence by reducing the costs of failure, enhancing product reliability, and driving robust incident management across our regional service delivery network.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure strict compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process to drive reliability throughout product and service lifecycles.
- Lead and facilitate incident investigations, apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
- Participate in risk assessments, management of change reviews, deployment readiness assessments, and engineering design reviews.
- Execute the Field Incident Management Process (FIMP), including FRACAS DMAIC management, cause mapping, and comprehensive RCA reporting.
- Analyze performance data, identify failure trends, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and share critical lessons learned.
- Collaborate as a subject matter expert with engineering, service delivery, and supply chain teams to support new product development.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline, backed by relevant industry experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Wireline Operations or Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (AMO).
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Quality standards, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement principles.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
