We are currently expanding our financial inclusion footprint and seeking a proactive and results-driven Relationship Officer to join our vibrant team in Nigeria. In this field-based role, you will play a crucial part in empowering individuals and businesses by driving customer acquisition, promoting diverse financial products, and ensuring excellent portfolio performance across assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new retail customers, cooperative associations, and target markets within assigned geographic locations.
  • Drive aggressive sales, loan acquisition, and timely disbursement targets aligned with business objectives.
  • Promote a wide suite of financial products, including loans, savings accounts, micropension schemes, and microinsurance.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain strong, lasting relationships with individual customers and association leaders.
  • Follow up proactively on generated leads to guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor sales performance, loan repayments, debt collections, and daily customer activities.
  • Prepare and submit accurate, comprehensive, and timely daily or weekly performance reports.
  • Collaborate effectively with Team Leads and the Marketing department to formulate strategies for achieving regional business goals.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an OND, HND, or BSc in any relevant academic discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of cognate professional experience in sales, preferably within the Nigerian financial services sector.
  • Prior working experience in lending, microfinance, or credit collections will be a strong added advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Highly target-driven, resilient, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness and readiness to thrive in a dynamic field-based and community engagement environment.
