We are currently recruiting a results-driven and experienced Relationship Manager on behalf of our esteemed banking client in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in expanding our client base, nurturing high-value accounts, and delivering exceptional financial solutions that foster long-term loyalty and sustainable business profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire, onboard, and sustain high-value retail and commercial customer accounts to meet strategic business targets.
  • Build and maintain a robust database of existing and prospective clients through proactive networking and targeted marketing visits.
  • Identify unique customer financial needs and recommend suitable banking products and services.
  • Review, evaluate, and analyze credit applications thoroughly in strict compliance with the bank's internal credit policies.
  • Manage assigned credit portfolios effectively while proactively monitoring overall credit quality and mitigating risks.
  • Resolve customer complaints swiftly and efficiently to guarantee optimal satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Drive aggressive sales, cross-selling initiatives, revenue generation, and customer retention strategies.
  • Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and timely activity and performance reports for management review.
  • Support strategic loan recovery efforts and execute other assigned business development tasks.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a First Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of cognate banking experience acting as a Relationship Manager.
  • Demonstrated strong credit analysis knowledge and a deep understanding of the Nigerian financial market.
  • Exceptional product knowledge with an impressive network of professional contacts and clients.
  • Outstanding negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a high level of resilience, initiative, and creativity.
  • Proficiency in using standard computer applications and banking software.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as an effective team player in a fast-paced environment.
