About the Role
CHAN Medi-Pharm, the drug supply and distribution arm of the Christian Health Association of Nigeria (CHAN), is seeking a dedicated Relationship Development Executive to join our expanding team. Operating since 1979, we coordinate the provision of essential medicines and medical consumables to over 400 mission hospitals and 4,000 primary healthcare facilities nationwide. In this role, you will play a vital part in our mission to make quality, affordable healthcare accessible to economically and geographically disadvantaged populations across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales and achieve assigned sales targets within the designated territory.
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities across hospitals, pharmacies, and health facilities.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with pharmacies, distributors, NGOs, and institutional customers.
- Promote the company's pharmaceutical and healthcare products professionally and ethically.
- Conduct regular customer visits and effectively follow up on sales opportunities and orders.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Maintain accurate customer records and submit timely sales and activity reports.
- Support overall customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant sales experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, FMCG, or distribution sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent knowledge of the Nigerian pharmaceutical and healthcare market.
- Ability to work independently, manage a designated territory, and deliver results.
- Good computer literacy and professional reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
