About the Role

We are currently looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide exceptional pre-natal, intra-partum, and post-natal care, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and babies within our modern maternity unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care to expectant mothers in accordance with professional medical standards.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor and childbirth, taking prompt clinical action when necessary.
- Assist doctors and obstetricians during deliveries and emergency obstetric procedures.
- Educate expectant parents on pregnancy progression, labor signs, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient health records and administer medications as prescribed.
- Ensure strict adherence to hospital infection control protocols, safety regulations, and professional ethics.
- Must be a Registered Midwife (RM) with a valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Possession of a Registered Nurse (RN) qualification is an added advantage.
- Proven clinical experience working in a hospital or maternity care setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and emotional intelligence skills to support patients through vulnerable moments.
