About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy provider, bringing clean power to over 82 million people across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Regional Store Coordinator to join our operations team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will ensure our regional warehouses and retail stores maintain optimal inventory levels, adhere to strict operational standards, and seamlessly support our rapid business expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Manage regional warehouse inventory, accurately reporting goods received, stock levels, and weekly on-hand reports to the Country Store Manager.
- Coordinate with third-party transporters to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe delivery of goods to Sun King stores.
- Perform serial-based scanning for all inventory entering and leaving the regional warehouse.
- Communicate and investigate any inventory shortages, thefts, or unexplained variances, ensuring police reports are filed when necessary.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly physical inventory counts across regional retail stores.
- Monitor Sun King Store Executives (SSEs) to ensure proper store etiquette, cleanliness, and adherence to legal requirements and company processes.
- Receive faulty products from stores, coordinate return shipments to headquarters, and manage the aggregation of weekly inventory and marketing reports.
- Train regional SSEs and provide temporary coverage during their personal or medical leaves.
- Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressive work experience in inventory management or procurement within a multinational organization.
- Advanced computer literacy, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Demonstrated sound judgment with exceptional people management, communication, and reporting skills.
