About the Role
Sun King is the world's largest off-grid solar energy provider, dedicated to powering homes across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a talented Regional Solar Installation & Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality technical services, maintaining system performance, conducting installation audits, and managing our third-party installer network to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Execute high-quality installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of solar inverter systems within the assigned region.
- Utilize remote monitoring platforms to track system performance, diagnose issues proactively, and prevent potential failures.
- Conduct routine on-site and remote installation audits to ensure compliance with strict safety and technical standards.
- Onboard, train, and manage third-party installers to expand service coverage and maintain high quality of work.
- Accurately document service activities, manage spare parts inventory, and submit detailed reports to management.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in after-sales service delivery and technical support within the solar inverter, consumer electronics, or mobile technology industry.
- Strong technical expertise in solar PV systems, electrical wiring standards, and power electronics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, software, and remote monitoring platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
