About the Role
Jaza Energy, the last mile energy company building solar charging stations and battery rentals in off-grid communities, is seeking an exceptional Regional Service Engineer to oversee technical operations in Ondo and surrounding South-West states. In this role, you will lead a team of Field Service Engineers to maintain robust technical systems, guarantee uninterrupted power, and drive operational excellence across our growing network of energy hubs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise Field Service Engineers in executing new hub setups, ensuring seamless connectivity, and conducting regular maintenance.
- Lead and coach the technical team on best practices through continuous training and professional development initiatives.
- Monitor hub energy performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and collaborate with the Network Operations Centre data team to resolve challenges.
- Review field reports, collate monthly performance data on power availability, and report directly to the Technical Manager.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards across all regional technical operations.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on technical and engineering leadership experience within the solar energy, telecommunications, or related industries.
- Deep, proven expertise in solar systems, electrical design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to safety and compliance.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software, including the MS Office suite.
- Ability to travel significantly within Nigeria to support regional expansion.
