About the Role
The Smackers Limited, operators of the renowned The Place Restaurant, is looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team on the Lagos Mainland. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless daily operation of our facilities and equipment, directly contributing to our commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction and top-tier hospitality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily routine inspections of facilities to proactively identify and resolve potential faults before equipment failure occurs.
- Diagnose reported faults, analyze root causes, and execute prompt and effective resolutions.
- Carry out comprehensive preventive and proactive maintenance on all assigned facilities and equipment according to manuals.
- Monitor equipment usage to prevent mishandling, ensure proper handover during shift changes, and keep all assets clean and in top working condition.
- Complete spare requisitions, job completion forms, equipment history cards, and daily reports accurately and on schedule.
- Drive company energy-saving initiatives to reduce consumption and costs while testing and confirming the quality of diesel supplies.
- Escalate complex issues to supervisors, follow up to closure, and provide valuable feedback on vendor performance.
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on maintenance experience in a similar fast-paced environment.
- Must possess an OND or HND in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
- Good computer literacy and ability to utilize digital reporting tools.
- Must reside within Ojuelegba, Lawanson, Surulere, or immediate environs on Lagos Mainland.
