About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a robust financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently seeking a dynamic and proactive Regional Security Lead for our North East region to ensure the safety of our personnel, offices, and assets.
Key Responsibilities- Implement comprehensive physical security policies across all regional offices and facilities.
- Supervise, train, and mentor private security personnel and armed police details.
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks proactively.
- Serve as the primary liaison with law enforcement and local emergency services.
- Lead investigations into security breaches and provide accurate, actionable incident reports.
- Maintain and optimize automated security systems, including CCTV and access control infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or a related field.
- Recognized professional security certification such as CPP, PSP, or CPO.
- Minimum of 5 years of security leadership experience in guard services or as an ex-commissioned service personnel supervisor in the military, police, or paramilitary.
- Proficiency in local dialects spoken in the North East region.
- Demonstrated expertise in operating and maintaining automated security and surveillance systems.
