About the Role
Absen Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of the global LED leader Absen Group, is expanding its cutting-edge renewable energy operations into Nigeria as our first African hub. We are building a high-standard local team for 2026 and seeking a dynamic Regional Project Manager to drive our regional solar installations, mini-grids, and battery storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, schedule, and oversee the end-to-end execution of renewable energy projects from mobilization to commissioning.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate with Technical Managers to guarantee installations meet rigorous engineering and safety standards.
- Liaise with City Managers to align local manpower, logistics, and material supply with project pipelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for institutional, corporate, and government clients.
- Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain, site access, and regulatory risks.
- Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across all active sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Project Management.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are a strong advantage.
- 5 to 7 years of project management experience, with at least 2 to 3 years specifically in solar or power infrastructure.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sites and dispersed regional teams.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian renewable energy regulatory landscape.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
