About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses and consumers. We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Regional Marketing Specialist to spearhead our brand growth, customer acquisition, and market penetration in the North-East region. In this pivotal role, you will act as the strategic link between central brand objectives and localized market dynamics, ensuring our physical and digital presence translates into measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute quarterly regional marketing calendars tailored to local economic and cultural nuances while aligning with national strategies.
- Manage regional marketing budgets, oversee vendor onboarding, perform monthly reconciliations, and optimize Cost Per Acquisition (CPA).
- Act as the regional Brand Guardian, maintaining visual identity standards across branches, ATMs, and high-impact local media channels.
- Design and execute high-energy neighborhood activations, trade cluster storms, and sales enablement campaigns to drive immediate account openings.
- Build strategic relationships with local trade unions, community leaders, and traditional stakeholders to facilitate seamless market entry.
- Monitor competitor activities, gather frontline customer insights, and coordinate regional CSR initiatives to enhance brand goodwill.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of progressive marketing experience within FinTech, Financial Services, FMCG, or Telecommunications sectors in Nigeria.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, event management, and localized campaign execution.
- Exceptional vendor negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
- Deep understanding of regional market dynamics within Northern Nigeria is a distinct advantage.
