About the Role
Heirs Insurance is a dynamic general insurance company challenging traditional insurance by providing simple and accessible protection for vehicles, homes, businesses, and more. We are currently seeking an accomplished and visionary Regional Head - South to spearhead our expansion, drive profitability, and deliver exceptional operational excellence across the Southern region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional growth strategy aligned with the overarching corporate objectives of Heirs Insurance.
- Drive aggressive market expansion across retail, corporate, and broker distribution channels within the region.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and implement competitive positioning strategies to capture significant market share.
- Supervise regional branches, ensuring top-tier service excellence and seamless daily operations.
- Strengthen key broker and corporate relationships while expanding our agency and retail distribution networks.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and maintain a robust risk and control environment.
- Represent the company in high-level regional industry forums, building strategic partnerships and managing key accounts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in general insurance, with substantial exposure to corporate and institutional businesses.
- Professional insurance qualifications, such as CIIN (Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria), are highly desirable.
- Proven track record in strategic leadership, sales management, and business development within the Nigerian insurance sector.
