About the Role
Jaza Energy is a pioneering last-mile energy company building solar energy charging stations and renting batteries in off-grid communities. We are currently looking for a dynamic Regional Dispatcher to own last-mile transport execution at our regional fulfillment centre, ensuring efficient outbound demand conversion into structured, optimized delivery plans with high DIFOT performance, controlled costs, and full proof of delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Own daily and weekly dispatch plans aligned to outbound demand and deployment schedules.
- Build optimized vehicle loads and assign routes before dispatch windows open.
- Cluster deliveries by territory to maximize route density and reduce cost per drop.
- Ensure no vehicle departs without confirmed staging, documentation, and system validation.
- Enforce system-based dispatch execution with zero reliance on informal communication channels.
- Manage both internal fleet and third-party logistics (3PL) drivers to the same delivery standards.
- Conduct structured end-of-day debriefs with full proof of delivery and exception closure.
- Maintain vehicle utilization at or above 80 percent per run and DIFOT consistently above 95 percent.
- Degree or HND in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in dispatch, transport coordination, or last-mile logistics.
- Strong understanding of last-mile logistics constraints in emerging markets.
- Demonstrated experience managing 3PL networks and driver performance.
- Hands-on experience with dispatch platforms such as Loginext or Routific is an added advantage.
