About the Role
International Medical Corps is a global humanitarian organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through emergency healthcare training and relief programs. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join our team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive logistics support and services in accordance with organizational policies, donor guidelines, and local regulations. You will ensure the seamless daily operation of our offices, supporting our humanitarian staff as they deliver critical healthcare services to communities in need.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily office logistics activities, including facility maintenance, cleaning, utility supplies, and vendor liaison.
- Oversee office and IT support functions, ensuring proper device connectivity, basic troubleshooting, and user setups.
- Coordinate fleet management by compiling weekly department schedules, planning movements, and supervising drivers and vehicle refueling.
- Implement asset management policies, maintaining accurate records, tracking IDs, and conducting monthly reconciliations.
- Support fraud prevention and maintain auditable records of all logistics transactions, reports, and trackers.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably within the humanitarian sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data management systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within multi-ethnic and multicultural teams.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with a strong commitment to International Medical Corps' values and principles.
