About the Role
Proten International is seeking a dynamic, commercially astute Regional Business Manager for our Value Accelerator and Portfolio Business Unit based in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will leverage your strong industrial boiler expertise and proven regional sales experience to spearhead business development, optimize revenue growth, and cultivate high-value customer relationships across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the achievement of regional sales, service, and budgetary targets while managing P&L performance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive regional sales, channel, and marketing strategies.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong strategic relationships with senior-level customers and key decision-makers.
- Expand market share aggressively across industrial boiler and related technology segments.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and evolving customer needs to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Lead, coach, develop, and motivate high-performing sales and service teams across diverse environments.
- Collaborate effectively with central functions to align regional outputs with broader organizational objectives.
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Service Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a similar role within a multinational corporate environment.
- At least 4 years of proven experience in a managerial or leadership position.
- Prior experience with industry leaders such as Thermax, KHS, Krones, Sidel, or Bühler is highly preferred.
- Deep product knowledge of industrial boiler systems and associated technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sales, business development, market expansion, and P&L management.
- Postgraduate qualification or MBA is an added advantage.
