About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, providing reliable power to over 82 million customers across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dynamic and driven Refurbishment Line Manager to lead our end-to-end refurbishment operations in Lagos. In this vital role, you will ensure that returned and recovered solar products are efficiently assessed, repaired, graded, and restored to a saleable condition while maintaining strict inventory accountability and driving continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee daily refurbishment line operations and multi-location production targets.
- Manage complete inventory accountability for spare parts, refurbished goods, and field returns.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of refurbishment technicians and quality inspectors.
- Implement rigorous quality control standards and product grading frameworks.
- Drive continuous process improvements to reduce waste, lower unit costs, and optimize turnaround times.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and local e-waste disposal regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in refurbishment, manufacturing, or repair operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, stock control, and supply chain coordination.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical wiring standards, and power electronics.
