About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier technical services and project support leader in the Nigerian oil, gas, and energy sector. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Electrical Engineer to serve as our resident electrical engineering authority across multiple facilities nationwide. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the complete electrical engineering lifecycle for major capital projects and facilities management works, driving excellence from initial design through to final handover and as-built documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and review conceptual and detailed electrical designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Supervise electrical construction activities across various company locations to ensure full compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct rigorous site inspections and quality assurance checks, promptly identifying and resolving non-conformances.
- Manage contractor and consultant performance, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate electrical works seamlessly with architectural, structural, and mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Maintain accurate as-built drawings, technical records, and comprehensive progress reports throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all engineering activities strictly adhere to applicable Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and global best practices.
- Bachelor Degree (B.Sc./B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering or a recognized equivalent.
- Minimum of 15 years of robust post-qualification experience in electrical engineering, construction, or engineering consultancy within the oil and gas or industrial sectors.
- Mandatory COREN registration.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, with working knowledge of BIM and other modern design software being an added advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in construction supervision, contractor management, and multi-site project delivery.
