About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is hiring a dedicated Recycling Machine Operator to join our dynamic production team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring industrial plastic grinding and granulating equipment to support sustainable waste management and recycling initiatives. Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor plastic grinding, shredding, and granulating machines efficiently.
- Feed waste plastic materials into the machinery in alignment with daily production targets.
- Inspect processed materials to ensure proper size and high quality standards.
- Clear minor blockages and perform basic mechanical adjustments as needed.
- Conduct routine cleaning, upkeep, and preventive maintenance of the grinding equipment.
- Promptly report any machine faults, overheating, or abnormal operational sounds.
- Comply strictly with company production procedures and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
- Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, or relevant technical qualification.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience operating plastic grinding, shredding, or recycling machines.
- Prior experience in a plastic manufacturing or industrial recycling plant is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of various plastic materials and recycling processes.
- Physically fit with the stamina required to work effectively in a fast-paced factory environment.
