We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Recycling Machine Operator to join our client's bustling production team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring industrial plastic grinding and granulating equipment, ensuring optimal output and maintaining our high standards of workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor plastic grinding, granulating, and shredding machines efficiently.
- Feed waste plastic materials into the machinery according to daily production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance closely to ensure consistent and high-quality material output.
- Inspect processed plastic materials regularly to verify proper size and quality standards.
- Clear minor blockages and perform basic machine adjustments to maintain workflow.
- Conduct routine cleaning and preventative maintenance of grinding equipment.
- Promptly report machine faults, abnormal sounds, or overheating issues to the maintenance team.
- Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures and workplace safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized factory work area at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with production and maintenance teams to minimize operational downtime.
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, or a relevant technical certification.
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating plastic grinding, granulating, shredding, or recycling machines.
- Prior experience working within a plastic manufacturing or recycling plant environment is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of various plastic materials and recycling processes is a distinct advantage.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate machinery safely and identify basic faults.
- Physically fit with the stamina required to work effectively in a fast-paced factory environment.
