About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will ensure the optimal performance of our heavy machinery, generators, and construction tools, directly contributing to the timely and safe delivery of our high-standard building projects.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel and petrol generators, concrete mixers, and batching plants.
- Conduct efficient troubleshooting, repairs, and part replacements on malfunctioning construction machinery and equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from site and project managers, prioritizing urgent tasks effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and completed work orders.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all project sites.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to supervise specialized repairs or complex installations.
- Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts, coordinating with procurement for timely restocking.
- HND or B.Sc Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience as a maintenance technician within the Nigerian building and construction industry.
- Extensive practical knowledge in repairing diesel/petrol generators and heavy construction equipment.
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems and record-keeping.
