About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Recycling Machine Operator to join our dynamic production environment. In this role, you will operate and monitor industrial plastic grinding and granulating equipment, playing a vital part in our commitment to sustainable waste processing and efficient material recycling. The ideal candidate ensures consistent machine performance, maintains high-quality output, and strictly adheres to workplace safety standards within a bustling manufacturing facility in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor plastic grinding, shredding, and granulating machines efficiently.
- Feed waste plastic materials into the machinery in alignment with daily production requirements.
- Inspect processed plastic outputs to ensure proper sizing and compliance with quality standards.
- Clear minor blockages, perform basic machine adjustments, and report any operational faults immediately.
- Conduct routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on all assigned grinding equipment.
- Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and optimize output.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, or relevant technical qualification.
- 2 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience operating plastic grinding, granulating, or recycling machinery.
- Prior working experience in a plastic manufacturing or recycling factory environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of various plastic materials and standard recycling processes.
- Physically fit with the stamina required to work effectively in an industrial factory setting.
