About the Role

Babban Gona, which translates to "Great Farm" in the Hausa language, is an innovative social enterprise dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers in Nigeria to achieve greater profitability and sustainability. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Recruitment Analyst to join our vibrant Human Resources team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, building robust talent pipelines, and engaging both active and passive candidates to support our rapid organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks to build strong talent pipelines for current and future business needs.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand department requirements, align recruitment strategies, and streamline the end-to-end hiring process.
  • Conduct resume screenings, initial interviews, and candidate assessments to ensure a high-quality shortlist of top-tier talent.
  • Utilize recruitment analytics and metrics such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and drive data-backed decisions.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and participate in university recruitment programs and career fairs to enhance organizational visibility.
  • Collaborate with HR teams on employee retention strategies by analyzing turnover data and feedback to improve long-term engagement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience working as a recruiter, talent acquisition specialist, or recruitment analyst.
  • Proven proficiency in utilizing Human Resources Management Systems (HRIS) and applicant tracking software.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations including recruitment, selection, payroll, and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strong team-oriented mindset.
