About the Role
Rosabon Financial Services Limited, a subsidiary of Concept Group Nigeria and a leading financial intermediary licensed by the CBN, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recovery Officer to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial health by managing overdue accounts, conducting field visits, and recovering outstanding debts while upholding our core values of professionalism and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor assigned customer accounts to ensure timely repayments and provide regular status reports.
- Conduct field visits to locate debtors, verify contact information, and request outstanding payments using approved scripts.
- Negotiate mutually beneficial payment plans and restructured schedules to curb customer delinquency.
- Utilize advanced tracing techniques and strategies to update the customer database with accurate, current information.
- Achieve assigned monthly recovery targets and contribute to minimizing bad debt across the portfolio.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in debt recovery, credit control, or field collections within the financial services sector.
- Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong understanding of debtor behavior, human motivation, and standard collection procedures.
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and cold-contact capabilities.
- High attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate database records.
