About the Role
FairMoney, a leading digital lending platform in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recovery Manager to oversee our loan recovery operations in Rivers. In this strategic role, you will lead a dedicated team to reduce non-performing loans, optimize recovery processes, and ensure strict adherence to CBN regulations and ethical collection standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute effective field recovery strategies to reduce Portfolio at Risk and improve overall recovery metrics.
- Set clear KPIs, zonal recovery plans, and daily activity expectations for field recovery teams and third-party agents.
- Approve loan restructuring and settlement offers within delegated authority guidelines.
- Ensure all recovery processes strictly adhere to CBN Consumer Protection Regulations and ethical collection practices.
- Manage recruitment, training, and performance supervision for recovery officers and zonal supervisors.
- Collaborate with Risk, Legal, and Customer Service departments to ensure holistic and compliant case management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in field recovery within the Nigerian financial lending industry.
- At least 2 to 3 years in a senior leadership or field supervisory role managing teams.
- Deep familiarity with CBN Microfinance Guidelines, debt recovery laws, and ethical collection standards.
