About the Role
FairMoney, a leading digital financial platform in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recovery Manager to spearhead our loan recovery operations in Abia. In this pivotal role, you will strategically lead regional recovery efforts, oversee field teams, and enforce credit terms while maintaining the highest standards of ethical collection and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute effective field recovery strategies to reduce Portfolio at Risk and non-performing loan ratios.
- Set clear KPIs, zonal recovery plans, and daily activity expectations for field officers and third-party agents.
- Approve loan restructuring or settlement offers within delegated authority and track progress using digital tools.
- Ensure all recovery processes strictly adhere to CBN Consumer Protection Regulations and ethical guidelines.
- Recruit, train, and supervise high-performing field recovery officers and zonal supervisors.
- Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Legal, and Customer Service departments to streamline case management and escalation processes.
- Prepare comprehensive recovery performance reports for senior management and liaise with local authorities when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or professional certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in field recovery within the Nigerian financial lending industry.
- At least 2 to 3 years in a senior leadership or field supervisory role managing nationwide or regional teams.
- Deep familiarity with CBN Microfinance Guidelines, debt recovery laws, and ethical collection practices.
