About the Role
Busha is one of Africa’s leading digital asset platforms on a mission to onboard millions into the crypto economy. We are looking for a highly analytical Reconciliation & Settlement Manager to lead our payment and financial operations, ensuring flawless transaction flows and robust financial controls across multiple markets and channels.
Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end reconciliation of fiat and digital asset transactions against internal ledgers, bank accounts, and partner records.
- Coordinate and monitor settlement processes across banking, payment, and liquidity partners within agreed timelines.
- Manage reconciliation and cross-border payment flows, monitoring fund movements, FX conversions, and intermediary charges.
- Establish and maintain effective exception management processes, performing root-cause analyses on unmatched transactions.
- Collaborate with Treasury to monitor operational balances, mitigate liquidity gaps, and support multi-currency payment corridors.
- Implement strong internal controls, enforce segregation of duties, and assist with internal and external audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of professional experience in financial reconciliation, payment operations, or treasury management within fintech or banking.
- Strong expertise in cross-border payments, multi-currency transactions, and high-volume financial data processing.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, with working knowledge of SQL, ERPs, or automated reconciliation tools.
- Proven ability to manage banking relationships, monitor partner SLAs, and supervise finance operations teams.
