We are currently looking for a dedicated Reconciliation Officer to join our dynamic finance team and support our mission of redefining banking in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and exceptions promptly.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding reconciliation items and aged suspense accounts.
- Prepare comprehensive reconciliation reports for management review.
- Reconcile POS transactions, bank transfers, electronic channels, and settlement accounts.
- Support audit, internal control, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Liaise with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to resolve transaction-related issues.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a Microfinance Bank, Commercial Bank, Fintech, or POS payments company.
- Good understanding of bank reconciliations, settlements, and transaction processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to manage high transaction volumes.
