About the Role
Tojum Hospitality, a premier hospitality management consultancy and recruitment firm, is seeking a polished, passionate, and dedicated Receptionist on behalf of our esteemed client, Isaac Sam Lounge & Lodging Limited, located on Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State. In this role, you will serve as the warm and professional first point of contact for all guests, embodying the high standards of hospitality and excellence that our brand is known for.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling room reservations efficiently.
- Handle incoming phone calls, inquiries, and correspondence, routing them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Process guest payments, issue receipts, and manage basic billing transactions accurately using hotel management software.
- Address guest complaints, requests, and inquiries promptly, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area that reflects the luxury and professionalism of the lounge.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet optimal standards.
- Possession of a relevant academic qualification (OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree) in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven previous work experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or customer service representative, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to make guests feel valued and welcomed.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications, hotel management software, and office equipment.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Residency in Ibadan, specifically around Ring Road or accessible locations, is an added advantage.
