About the Role
Tojum Hospitality, a premier hospitality consultancy and recruitment firm in Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier for our esteemed client, Isaac Sam Lounge & Lodging Limited, located on Ring Road, Ibadan. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate financial records and managing daily point-of-sale operations within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all cash, credit, and electronic payment transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Greet guests warmly, process orders, and issue receipts or change promptly.
- Reconcile daily cash drawers and generate comprehensive daily sales reports for management.
- Maintain complete security and confidentiality of all financial transactions and drawer contents.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and bar teams to ensure smooth billing and guest check-out processes.
- Address and resolve customer billing inquiries or discrepancies with professionalism and patience.
- Minimum of an OND, SSCE, or relevant certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Cashier, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, or lounge industry.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic accounting software.
- Exceptional numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Reside in or be willing to commute to Ring Road, Ibadan.
