About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and accomplished Reader in Public Health to join our esteemed faculty for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality academic instruction and mentorship to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Public Health.
  • Lead groundbreaking research initiatives and secure grants to advance public health solutions.
  • Publish significant peer-reviewed scholarly articles in reputable national and international outlets.
  • Contribute actively to curriculum development, department administration, and academic program evaluations.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and theses.
  • Engage in community service and institutional development initiatives aligned with the university's mission.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Ph.D. degree in Public Health or a closely related relevant field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of full-time teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Demonstrated track record of significant peer-reviewed scholarly publications in reputable national and international outlets.
  • Active membership in relevant professional bodies.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
