About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified academic professional to fill the position of Reader in Nursing Science. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of healthcare education by mentoring aspiring nurses, conducting advanced research, and upholding our tradition of holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and practical training in Nursing Science to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and clinical placements.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement in the Department of Nursing Science.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and administrative duties.
- Engage in community service initiatives and outreach programs that reflect the university's core values.
- Must possess a PhD in Nursing Science or a closely related and relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of post-PhD academic and teaching experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have a robust research profile with at least 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Must have served as a Senior Lecturer for a minimum of 2 years.
