We are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academics for the position of Reader in Computer Science to join our vibrant faculty for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality teaching, mentoring, and academic supervision for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Computer Science.
- Lead groundbreaking research initiatives and publish significant peer-reviewed scholarly articles in reputable national and international journals.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development, department administration, and academic quality assurance.
- Participate in community service engagements and foster industry partnerships that align with the university's mission.
- Supervise student research projects, seminars, and theses at various academic levels.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 9 years of full-time teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A robust portfolio of significant peer-reviewed scholarly publications in reputable national and international outlets.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies and associations.
- Demonstrated leadership capability in academic administration and departmental development.
- Competitive remuneration structured on the KDUTSS 06 scale, comparable to Federal Universities in Nigeria.
