About the Role
St Dominic Catholic Hospital is a reputable 64-bed faith-based medical facility committed to fostering Catholic medical ethics and evidence-based practice. We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Radiographer for immediate employment to deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging services, ensuring optimal patient care and strict adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized X-ray, CT scan, and optional ultrasound examinations in accordance with approved clinical protocols.
- Apply ALARA radiation protection principles and maintain compliance with NNRA Medical Practice Regulations.
- Review physician referrals, screen patients for contraindications, and administer IV contrast media safely.
- Manage image post-processing, transfer files promptly to PACS, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Participate in daily quality control tests, safety audits, and infection control protocols.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Radiography from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- 1 to 5 years of post-NYSC experience, with at least 1 year of hands-on CT scan experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, CT physics, and radiation safety protocols.
