About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Perform X-rays and other approved radiographic examinations accurately.
- Position and prepare patients appropriately for various imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiography equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure strict radiation protection for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images to assist in accurate medical diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Attend promptly to emergency and inpatient imaging requests.
- Report equipment faults and safety concerns to management without delay.
- Submit required departmental and monthly operational reports.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, dignity, and professional standards at all times.
- Participate in training sessions, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental activities.
- Degree or HND in Radiography or a recognized equivalent qualification.
- Valid professional registration and a current practising licence in Nigeria.
- Relevant clinical experience in a recognized medical facility will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, technical proficiency, and compassionate patient-care skills.
