In this role, you will provide safe, accurate, and timely radiographic imaging services to support accurate diagnosis and patient management, ensuring strict compliance with radiation safety and professional regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality radiographic examinations and imaging procedures as requested by authorized medical practitioners.
- Prepare patients for examinations by providing clear instructions, comfort, and support throughout the imaging process.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain radiographic equipment to guarantee optimal performance and diagnostic clarity.
- Apply rigorous radiation protection and safety measures to safeguard patients, staff, and visitors.
- Review images for technical precision, ensuring accurate positioning, image acquisition, and quality assessment.
- Maintain comprehensive records of examinations, patient information, and results while upholding strict confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Ensure compliance with approved HSE requirements, infection prevention measures, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiography or an equivalent recognized professional qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience working in a reputable healthcare institution.
- Mandatory active registration with the relevant Radiographers Registration Board.
- Possession of a current and valid practice license.
- Strong expertise in radiation protection, patient safety protocols, and equipment troubleshooting.
