About the Role
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is seeking a dedicated and organized RAC Manager to play a crucial role in managing Registration Area Centers (RAC) and Super RACs during electoral processes across Nigeria. As the foremost Election Management Body in the country, INEC is committed to conducting free, fair, and credible elections that sustain our democracy. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to national development and ensure the integrity of the electoral process at the grassroots level.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate all activities at the designated Registration Area Center (RAC) or Super RAC.
- Manage election materials, personnel, and logistics effectively at the center level on election days.
- Liaise with electoral officers and security personnel to ensure a peaceful and orderly voting environment.
- Ensure strict adherence to INEC guidelines, electoral acts, and operational procedures.
- Resolve logistical and operational challenges promptly to guarantee the smooth conduct of elections.
- Applicants must be current heads of schools or staff members of the educational institution hosting the RAC and currently on Grade Level 07 (GL 07).
- Must not be a registered member of any political party.
- Must not have demonstrated or expressed public support for any political candidate or party.
- Must be a resident of the selected state where the RAC is located.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
