We are currently seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate Quran and Arabic Language Teacher to join our esteemed academic team and help shape the next generation of top achievers.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Quranic recitation with proper Tajweed, memorization (Hifz), and Tafsir appropriate to various student age groups.
- Deliver engaging Arabic language lessons aligned with the NECO BECE and Lagos State BECE curricula.
- Cover grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills effectively.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations like the BECE.
- Educate students on Islamic teachings, history, and high moral ethics.
- Utilize modern teaching methodologies, educational technology, and aids to enhance language acquisition and student engagement.
- Assess, evaluate, and maintain accurate records of student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain strong classroom management, discipline, and a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
- Proven proficiency in Quran recitation, Tajweed, Arabic language, and Islamic teachings.
- Certification in Quranic studies or Tajweed is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with NECO BECE and Lagos State BECE Arabic curricula.
- Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting within Nigeria.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
