About the Role
Aldelia Limited, a leading Oil & Gas recruitment specialist with regional centres across key strategic markets, is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor. We deliver specialised services to international and local Oil & Gas firms, leveraging global expertise with local market knowledge. Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity take-offs from engineering drawings and project specifications
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and monitor project costs throughout the entire lifecycle
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate competitive bids, and support contract administration activities
- Assess variations, evaluate contractor claims, process interim valuations, and finalise final accounts
- Generate cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and commercial performance documentation
- Verify completed work quantities and ensure strict compliance with project specifications
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and clients on commercial matters
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related discipline
- 8–10 years' professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Oil & Gas, EPC/EPIC, or industrial projects
- Proven expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, budgeting, and claims management
- Knowledge of FIDIC contracts, procurement processes, and tender evaluation procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CostX, Candy, Primavera P6, MS Project, or AutoCAD is advantageous
- Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
