About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our dedicated team and help maintain our world-class facilities to support effective teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on school buildings, furniture, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Inspect school facilities regularly to identify and promptly resolve safety hazards, damages, or repair needs.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and major facility upgrades when necessary.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Ensure the school environment complies with all local health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests from administrative and academic staff.
- Relevant academic qualification, trade certification, or proven practical experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational institution.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to facilities management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, students, and vendors.
- Strong IT and digital skills, including proficiency with computers and facility management software.
