About the Role
Intelligence Properties is a leading multidisciplinary property service company incorporated in Nigeria, providing bespoke real estate solutions to owners, occupiers, and investors. We are currently seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team and support the cost and commercial management of our dynamic real estate development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, detailed budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Carry out precise quantity take-offs and analyse architectural and engineering drawings.
- Obtain and analyse current market prices for construction materials, labour, and services.
- Assist with tender preparation, rigorous contractor evaluation, and vendor selection.
- Monitor active project costs against approved budgets and prepare payment valuations and certificates.
- Assess project variations, claims, and additional works while supporting commercial negotiations.
- Advise management proactively on effective cost control measures and value-engineering opportunities.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a closely related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in the Nigerian construction or real estate sector.
- Active QSRBN membership or registration will be a strong added advantage.
- Deep understanding of construction methods, local material pricing, estimating, and BOQs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-standard software such as CostX or AutoCAD.
- Exceptional analytical, numerical, negotiation, and cross-functional communication skills.
