About the Role
Sayed Farms Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled CCTV Technician to join our growing team in Nigeria. Established in 2004, we are a leading player in the poultry and frozen food distribution sector with key operations in Ibadan and Abuja. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our security infrastructure to ensure maximum facility safety and minimal equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and commission CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, monitors, and related security hardware.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to guarantee optimal performance of all surveillance systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults involving cabling, power supplies, recording devices, and network connectivity.
- Configure IP cameras, remote viewing setups, and mobile monitoring applications for authorized personnel.
- Inspect installations regularly to ensure precise camera positioning and comprehensive area coverage.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all equipment installations, repairs, and inventory replacements.
- Collaborate closely with internal IT and security departments to enhance overall surveillance reliability.
- HND or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
- Strong practical knowledge of both analogue and IP camera systems, DVRs, NVRs, and structured cabling.
- Basic networking proficiency with solid troubleshooting and remote configuration skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel between company branches.
