About the Role
Brilliant Performance Solutions Limited is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial success of our construction projects by managing budgets, forecasting costs, and driving maximum efficiency from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors to deliver high-quality infrastructure while maintaining strict adherence to project budgets and timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tenders for construction projects covering materials, labor, and equipment.
- Negotiate and manage subcontracts with suppliers and contractors to secure cost-effective, high-quality services.
- Monitor ongoing project progress and expenditures, promptly identifying and reporting financial variances.
- Review, manage, and price variations to the project scope, ensuring all financial implications are approved.
- Prepare interim valuations, submit client invoices, and finalize project cost reports with thorough deviation analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian building regulations, industry standards, and professional ethics.
- Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction-related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Active membership in a recognized professional Quantity Surveying institute (e.g., NIQS).
- Demonstrated proficiency in cost-estimating software and modern digital measurement tools.
