About the Role
Mar and Mor Integrated Services is a leading building services company specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting installations. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Quantity Surveying Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing project finances, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining the highest standards of quality across all our residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and essential project documentation.
- Track plan or construction changes and update project budgets accordingly.
- Document project progress, materials used, and generate comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to prepare accurate tender and contract documents.
- Perform thorough cost and tender analyses for ongoing and upcoming company projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and help establish clear client requirements.
- Make valuations, monitor work quality, and manage commercial risks effectively.
- Analyze outcomes, write detailed progress reports, and ensure all deliverables stay on schedule.
- Value completed work and coordinate timely payments for suppliers and subcontractors.
- University degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in the building services industry, specifically focusing on Electromechanical, Firefighting, HVAC, plumbing, and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
- Active professional certification or membership with the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN), or other relevant bodies is an added advantage.
