About the Role
Enugu Air is a rapidly expanding, state-owned airline established by the Enugu State Government under the leadership of Governor Peter Mbah. Serving as a key economic catalyst, the carrier is committed to transforming Enugu into a premier regional logistics hub and a global investment destination. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Officer - Maintenance to support the implementation and maintenance of our airline's Quality Management System, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and approved operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Quality Manager and Safety Manager in implementing, maintaining, and continually improving compliance monitoring systems across maintenance operations.
- Ensure effective corrective actions are taken to address the root causes of all audit findings and operational observations.
- Implement the annual audit program, record and track compliance progress, and manage meeting documentation.
- Support safety investigations, maintain the internal reporting database, and help drive the Safety Management System implementation.
- Identify safety hazards, conduct thorough risk assessments, and recommend practical measures for continuous operational improvement.
- Liaise and follow up with relevant Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs) to ensure seamless regulatory alignment.
- Review maintenance and operational procedures, documentation, and technical records to identify compliance gaps and areas for enhancement.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control, compliance, auditing, or aviation operations.
- Prior experience in an airline, airport, aviation engineering, or another heavily regulated technical environment is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of Quality Management Systems, quality control, and auditing principles.
- Familiarity with applicable NCAA requirements and broader aviation regulations is a distinct advantage.
- Possession of relevant quality, auditing, or aviation certifications will be strongly preferred.
