We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Design Engineer to join our growing technical team in Nigeria.
As a Quality Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and precision of our engineering designs. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to review drawings, conduct quality assurance checks, and ensure all deliverables meet strict industry standards and client specifications. Key Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and validate engineering designs and technical drawings for compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Implement rigorous quality control procedures for all engineering deliverables, including laser scanning outputs and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, marine engineers, and technical teams to resolve design discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) policies throughout the design and execution phases.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of design reviews, quality audits, and compliance reports.
- Provide technical support during project execution in the maritime, petrochemical, and oil and gas sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a quality assurance or design engineering role within the oil and gas, maritime, or energy sector.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and familiarity with laser scanning data processing.
- Strong understanding of international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the energy and maritime industries.
